Maybank Foundation Artist Fellowship Programme (MFAFP)
What is The Maybank Foundation Artist Fellowship Programme (MFAFP)?
The Maybank Artist Fellowship Programme (MFAFP) is dedicated to empowering emerging artists from the ASEAN region by providing mentorship, resources, and opportunities to showcase their work. The programme aims to elevate these artists onto the international art stage while nurturing them as socially conscious cultural ambassadors and thought leaders.
The inaugural MFAFP launched in November 2023 with an inspiring series of workshops in Bali, Indonesia, directed and curated by the esteemed Khai Hori. Through purposeful networking and interactive sessions led by global art mentors and peers, participating artists explored new artistic perspectives, techniques, and mediums, fostering their professional growth beyond their familiar creative boundaries.
