What is the Maybank Artist Fellowship Programme (MFAFP)?

MFAFP supports emerging artists from the ASEAN region through mentorship, resources, and exhibition opportunities. Our goal is to propel artists onto the international art scene, cultivating socially conscious cultural agents and informed opinion leaders.

Our inaugural MFAFP kick started with workshops in November 2023, being directed and curated by Khai Hori in Bali, Indonesia. With intentional networking and sessions facilitated by global art mentors and peers, the artists’ professional development was nurtured through the sharing of artistic impressions and inspirations beyond their known knowledge and usual art mediums.
