“Since its inception in 2016, the programme has successfully touched the lives of more than 15,000 school children and some 300 teachers across 53 schools in Cambodia. This is a significant feat within a short period of time, further demonstrating Maybank’s continuous commitment to nurture financially savvy communities whilst strengthening the country’s economy as a whole.”

“The programme combines the elements of fun and learning which makes it even more exciting and easier for the children to become financially savvy. Through our partnership with MoneyTree Asia Pacific, the implementation of this initiative has been more seamless as the contents are customised to meet local country lingo and culture as well as keeping up with latest digital trends,” added Shahril.

The CashVille Kidz Financial Literacy programme, currently running in its fourth year in 2020 will continue to champion financial literacy amongst Cambodians through its strategic partnership with the National Bank of Cambodia and Ministry of Education, Youth & Sport Cambodia.
